Including ‘Dead By Daylight’, ‘Outriders’ and more
Google has revealed that its Google Stadia platform will be receiving 20 new games, made up of both exclusives and third-party titles, over the coming months.
The large line-up of games was announced at the Stadia Connect event held on July 14. Leading the pack of exclusives are Outcasters, a competitive top-down shooter with a distinctly vibrant world, and Orcs Must Die! 3, where players fighting against endless waves of Orcs. The former will launch during the 2020 holiday season, while the latter is available now.
The other three exclusives were not shown, however, the developers for each project were revealed: Harmonix (best know for developing the Rock Band series), Supermassive Games (Until Dawn) and Uppercut Games (Submerged).
The classic Bomberman series is also set to make its return on the Stadia, in the vein of a battle royale. Super Bomberman R Online will allow up to 64 players can battle out in online matches and include Crowd Play, where streamers can invite viewers into their game. The game will launch on Stadia first before heading to other systems.
Other third-party titles headed to Stadia including Dead by Daylight, the Hitman reboot trilogy, Serious Sam 4, Outriders, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and more. For the full list of games, watch the full Stadia Connect presentation below.
Other companies have also recently announced their plans for the year. Ubisoft recently presented its upcoming selection of games arriving over the coming 12 months, including Watch Dogs: Legion, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and the recently announced Far Cry 6.
Microsoft will be delivering their plans for the Xbox Series X when the Xbox Games Showcase drops next week (July 23). The show is set to focus on first-party titles, including the much-anticipated Halo: Infinite.
